Customer SurveySince our founding, we have proudly built our reputation with values of honesty and integrity, which have continued to earn us long-time, valued partnerships. With these values, we are confident in guaranteeing our customers complete satisfaction with our work.

Core Values

a. Build - The ability to establish, develop and strengthen

At MWCC, our definition of building is as much about establishing a foundation of team spirit as one of bricks and mortar. The company's values of transparency, honesty and commitment strengthen relationships and create enduring partnerships. We have found through our careers that relationships based on trust and integrity result in exceptional buildings, as well as future opportunities.

b. Innovate - The ability to introduce new ideas and methods

We strive to foster a spirit of innovation - the courage to embrace and drive change. In this industry, we are continually transforming the very methods and materials that result in extraordinary buildings. Creative and open-minded, we stay on top of new technologies, methods and materials, so we can share them with our clients. We prize the ingenuity that every team member brings to the table, ultimately improving quality, safety, durability, and sustainability.

c. Perform - The ability to effectively and safely execute work

At MWCC, we employ a stringent standard for efficiency and safety. Company-wide attention to detail and thorough training prepares our employees to implement efficiencies that use resources wisely, accomplish "more with less," and ensure on-time and on-budget performance.

Our safety standard is a ZERO INJURY CULTURE - no accidents, no incidents. Our employees take pride in ensuring their own safety and that of their colleagues, and strictly adhere to OSHA guidelines. Our employees know that safety - without compromise - is our priority.

d. Connect - The ability to join and establish communications

Through the vital exchange of ideas, we learn from one another, challenge ourselves, and set a course that validates every participant along the way. MWCC employs an open-door policy that establishes honest communications - from employees to management, owners to subcontractors, and architects to the end-users of the facility.

e. Achieve - The ability to seek and attain a higher goal

Our commitment to excellence guides us beyond the confines of our projects to set higher goals, inspiring us to make significant contributions to the communities in which we live and work.

We gauge our achievement by the confidence our clients place in us. We hear from our clients that MWCC "goes that extra mile" in how they embrace a project - in creativity, perseverance, productivity and commitment. We believe these characteristics genuinely reflect our employees, each of whom has come to MWCC with a desire to deliver exceptional service, establish lifelong relationships and fulfill professional goals.

Training

MWCC considers our employees our most important investment. We are only as good as our people. As we invest in their futures, we cultivate their reciprocal investment of passion, skills and professional aspirations in the company.

To recruit and keep the best and brightest in the industry, we foster a culture that encourages continual growth and achievement with thorough, state-of-the-art training programs. Our company has pioneered a project management database, Engineering On-Line Solutions (EOS), that provides operations management systems, as well as training on important subjects like safety; submittals and material deliveries; job start-up and close out; field engineering; estimating; day-to-day operations; scheduling; self work management; quality control and assurance; subcontracting and purchasing; owner contracting and leadership. Employees are required to pass quarterly assessments on these topics, ensuring their long-term mastery of essential skills, up-to-date knowledge and career success.

We foster a commitment to education, offering year-round internship programs and financial reimbursement for continuing education credits and accreditations. Committed to fulfilling our employees' long-term professional goals, we provide opportunities for advancement, both within the company and for new employees.

Safety

MWCC has a ZERO INJURY CULTURE. As important as quality, value engineering, schedules and cost considerations are to us, safety and health on our job sites is our absolute priority. You often hear our employees say" at the end of the day, we want everyone to go home to their families."

We believe all accidents are preventable and all at-risk behavior can be eliminated, so we invest in comprehensive safety training for our management, field supervisors, subcontractors and all operating craftspeople. We implement a project-specific safety and health protocol that protects our employees and the public from present and future hazards, production delays and damage to equipment. Thorough safety training is mandatory for all employees; quarterly tests must be passed; and on-going continuing education in new topics is required.

All levels of management and supervisory personnel are committed to the principles on which our company's safety and health plan is founded:

  • Safety is an attitude!
  • Pre-hire and random drug and alcohol screenings
  • Preventing injuries and accidents is a top priority
  • Working safely is a condition of employment
  • All injuries and occupational illnesses can be prevented
  • All employees are trained to work safely, everyday
  • Stretch and bend before work program
  • Everyone is responsible for safety
  • We are committed to a drug- and alcohol-free work place
  • We provide appropriate staffing for safety
  • Good housekeeping means excellent safety

Quality Control

To MWCC, quality originates far before the finished product; it begins with rigorous standards in planning, safety, workmanship and performance that are implemented at the outset of a project. Our project management approach systematically guarantees every member of the project team shares the same definition of quality.

To verify that the design and construction intent can be achieved, we listen to our trades' and fabricators' perspectives. MWCC stands by our commitment to perform to the absolute satisfaction of our clients. That means superior quality in project execution, as well as superior quality in the finished product.

MWGreen

MWCC is committed to the principles of sustainability, for the benefit of our customers, our employees, our families and our communities.

As a standard practice, our home office and job-site trailers participate in reducing our carbon footprint, whether we are recycling materials, ordering supplies locally, carpooling, or supporting 100% paperless meetings. It's paramount that we all contribute.

MWCC strongly encourages LEED® Accreditation for all full-time staff and will provide the necessary tools needed. We want our clients to have the knowledge to take their ideas and collectively integrate them into Green Building strategies that are suitable and feasible for their projects.
