Milender White (MW) and developer Core Spaces are partnering for Hub Fullerton, a new student-oriented apartment community by California State University, Fullerton. Hub Fullerton is one of many large projects in MW’s history, and will extend for nearly a quarter-mile along the city’s Chapman Avenue when finished.
This creative and dynamic community was designed by the acclaimed DLR Group as a 6-story mixed-use building combining best-in-class student housing with affordable workforce housing and retail shops.
The 359-unit, 495,697 sq. ft. project is less than 1,000 feet from the campuses of CSUF and Hope International University, in an attractive and walkable neighborhood with convenient OCTA and METROLINK connections. Hub Fullerton is not only steps from CSUF, but also just a short commute away from the Anaheim Canyon and Platinum Triangle employment hubs.
In the design, amenities abound: a pool, climbing wall and volleyball court on the roof level, and an onsite fitness center, spa room and yoga studio on the first floor. Street-level mini-yards, terraces and inviting common areas provide gathering spaces for tenants.
Hub Fullerton includes five levels of wood-frame construction above a concrete podium. A multi-level garage within the project’s footprint will contain 630 structured parking stalls, plus more than 2,000 sq. ft. reserved for bicycle parking.
This is MW’s second project built for Core Spaces – the first, Hub on Campus LA-Figueroa, will presently open near the University of Southern California.
