4th Street Crossing Final Site Plan Approved

In an unanimous vote, the Town of Silverthorne approved Milender White’s final site plan for the 4th Street Crossing development. Last night's vote gives Milender White the go-ahead on its vision for the 3.8 acres between 4th and 3rd Streets in downtown Silverthorne.
“We are obviously thrilled with the outcome,” said Tim Fredregill, Development Executive for Milender White. “Tonight’s success represents more than 24 months of work with the community, Town Staff and officials. Thank you to everyone participated in the process and provided valuable input and support.”
Aiming to become the new “main street” of Silverthorne, the new 4th Street Crossing area will include a 26,000-sq. ft. market hall with several food and beverage choices, a 100+ key hotel, for-sale townhomes and condos and retail shops along 4th Street. The plan also calls for a transit center and parking garage with more than 200 stalls.
In October, the 4th Street Crossing preliminary site plan was approved by Town Council with several conditions, the largest condition was adjusting the architecture to a more mountain/rustic feel. Milender White has worked with the Town’s planning department since that time to improve the architecture and refine the plan.
“We set out to create a place where the buildings and the outdoor spaces create an vibrant, energetic and safe environment for all community members,” Fredregill said. “4th Street Crossing will bring jobs, activity and new life into downtown Silverthorne. We couldn’t be more excited to break ground on the project in the next few months.”
Town Council also heard the first reading of the site’s PUD last night. A second hearing of the site’s PUD is scheduled for the council meeting on Wednesday, March 27.
The 4th Street Crossing team is actively seeking retail partners for the new market hall, set to open in fall of 2020. Opportunities include space for bar/restaurant operators, specialty food/beverage retailers and soft good retailers.
