Palm Springs Surf Club

1500 S. Gene Autry Trail
Palm Springs, CA

Type: Preconstruction

Owner: Inland Pacific Companies

Architect: Arch studio 12

Milender White is the general contractor on the Palm Springs Surf Club, a luxury entry in America’s “new wave” of inland surf resorts. The PSSC has already attracted media coverage from Architectural Digest, the Hollywood Reporter, KCRW-FM and NPR.

This 21-acre property on Gene Autry Trail will boast a software-controlled wave pool capable of satisfying neophytes and pro surfers alike, with the capacity to create waves of almost any size, shape and duration.

The PSSC will offer tourists and locals much more than great waves – it will also have a restaurant, a bar and a spa for adults, and amenities specifically geared to kids, including a lazy river. The park will be open from 8:00am-10:00pm year-round and employ about 200 Coachella Valley residents.

In a region where water use is a prime concern, the PSSC will utilize drought-tolerant landscaping and technology allowing efficient replenishment and recycling of water. Long-range plans call for a second phase of the project with a hotel.
