AMP the Cause hosted its Annual Community Day on May 14th, 2022 and many of the Milender White staff joined in to support the charity’s mission. This event is not only a way to volunteer and give back but has become a great team-building and networking opportunity for employees all while connecting and building a stronger community in which we live and work. AMP the Cause provided all the materials for the projects and the teams got to jump in with people power, positive energy, skills, and fun to make this day a huge success. In 2021, the impact of this day was nearly $435,000 in monetary and in-kind contributions, and this year we are proud to report that Community Day supported 46 organizations, with over 90 different projects!
Community Day connects volunteer businesses and nonprofits in a hands-on, experiential day of service. Each year over 800 volunteers provide 5,000+ hours to 55 local nonprofits so they can focus on more critical needs such as staffing and programming. This year 31 volunteers of the Milender White family spent a sunny Saturday building picnic tables, painting a playhouse, putting up fencing, planting pollinator shrubs, and building two 12’x16’ pergolas for programming events teaching kids about agriculture, plus a 20’ x 20’ enclosure to keep visitors away from the honey bee hives.

Milender White is dedicated to giving back to the communities in which we build. Our Beyond Building campaign serves to help local children in need through programs like the MW Annual Beyond Building Golf Tournament, MW Day of Community Service, and Holiday Extravaganza. We partner with local organizations like AMP the Cause, Junior Achievement, and HomeAid to contribute to dynamic events including Denver Day of Rock, Parade of Playhouses, rebuilding of centers supporting women and veterans, and training future craft workers and additional programs.
