At the end of April, civic leaders from Duarte joined executives from Milender White (MW), the Richman Group of California and DesignARC at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Huntington, an impressive new apartment community now leasing.
Located on Duarte’s main thoroughfare, Huntington Drive, The Huntington represents a cornerstone in the city’s Town Center Specific Plan. The upscale 161-unit community is MW’s first completed project in the San Gabriel Valley, and its apartments are designed with open floor plans, chef-style kitchens, 9-foot ceilings and high-end interior finishes. The project also includes ground-floor retail spaces, a fenced and lighted pet park with pet spa, a resident lounge outfitted with workspaces and a conference room, and public art from acclaimed steel sculptor Damon Hyldreth. Guests at the April 20 grand opening included Duarte Mayor Margaret Finlay and Duarte Chamber of Commerce CEO Shoshana Puccia.
The four-story Huntington also incorporates a 106,160 sq. ft. garage with 262 parking spaces. A new traffic signal on Huntington Drive complements the project.
