October 8, 2026 – Arvada, CO
Milender White (MW) is proud to complete six BeyondHome townhome renovations in Arvada, CO. Under HomeAid Colorado, BeyondHome provides a “comprehensive approach” for families experiencing poverty and at risk of homelessness. This is the second HomeAid Colorado project led by MW Office Engineer Ryan Messmore. Earlier this year Messmore was named as the HomeAid volunteer of the year for all his work on their renovation projects.
MW led the project from preconstruction to certificate of occupancy. BeyondHome brought a vision for the renovation and MW devised a detailed scope document. MW then invited preferred trade partners for a scope walk to get their expert input. These industry partners made suggestions and donated more than $70,000 of building materials and labor. MW also organized local volunteer groups who wanted to assist with project demolition.
CNC Electrical replaced wiring in the kitchens, bathrooms, and living rooms. Because building codes have changed significantly since these townhomes were originally constructed, dedicated circuits were added throughout to meet current safety requirements. All new appliances were installed in accordance with 2026 electrical standards. Together, MW and CNC made these homes safer for residents.
One townhome also received an ADA compliant bathroom to meet building code. Colorado Floorworks installed new LVT and carpet throughout. New kitchen and bathroom cabinets were provided by The Colorado Floor Company. KO Doors supplied new doors, hardware, and accessories. Perfection Painting refreshed all the wall and ceiling paint. MW carpenters infilled the old glass sunrooms that were gaining intense heat and making the building interiors unbearable.
All six homes received new envelope waterproofing. MW also installed new siding, windows, and roofs on the exterior.
