MW Hosts Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Jocko Willink

Milender White’s all-company event on Saturday featured author and retired United States Navy SEAL John Gretton “Jocko” Willink. More than 140 MW employees and guests attended the private gathering at the Embassy Suites in Boulder, CO.

A decorated retired Navy SEAL officer, Jocko spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy SEAL Teams and served as commander of SEAL Team Three’s Task Unit Bruiser during the battle of Ramadi in 2006. Jocko returned from Iraq to serve as Officer-in-Charge of training for all West Coast SEAL Teams. Upon retiring from the Navy, Jocko co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership consulting company, where he teaches the leadership principles he learned on the battlefield. Jocko is co-author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Extreme Ownership.: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win.

Milender White’s internal leadership training program is based on the principles of the book Extreme Ownership.

Willink’s talk reviewed “extreme ownership” and outlined the Laws of Combat and how those principles apply to everyday business at Milender White. The presentation was followed by an engaging hour-long Q&A session with the MW team along with photos and book signings.
