Astra is a new market-rate multifamily development offering 242 apartments with 667–1325 sq. ft. of living space. Milender White is proud to be a partner in this project, which is one of the initial steps in Inglewood’s transit-oriented development plan and Historic Downtown Revitalization. What has been an empty lot for over 30 years is about to become a beautiful new residential community.

Construction is Type III-A podium, with 260,012 sq. ft. of residential space, 48,473 sq. ft. of retail space and 438 parking stalls. At the podium level, Astra residents will enjoy a recreation/community room, media room and fitness center. The ground floor will host three restaurants and six retail spaces, including a Target. There are several open courtyards in the building design, with the south courtyard featuring a pool and pool deck. Apartment finishes are high-quality, with solid surface tops and locally sourced casework.

The Los Angeles Business Journal has mentioned Astra as a development exemplifying Inglewood’s 2020s renaissance. Astra is steps from downtown Inglewood, within walking distance to the city’s civic center and the Metro K line.
