Milender White completed a core remodel and classroom upgrade to this school built in 1961.
To accommodate school operations, the project was scheduled in two phases. Phase 1 enabled us to occupy 10,000 sq. ft. of the initial 30,000 sq. ft. area designated for renovation and begin construction on three of the four planned additions. Phase 2 allowed us to occupy the remaining 20,000 sq. ft. designated for renovation and included construction on the fourth addition plus site improvements.
Due to the tight time window to complete this renovation, scheduling and planning were critical. Our project team and our trade partners worked with the architect and the Jefferson County Public School District to address and resolve issues such as abatement removal, replacing the entire existing plumbing system and site drainage once construction had begun.
