Milender White’s large-scale Riverwalk project continues to gain impressive momentum, as the team reaches major milestones across the site.
Riverwalk Phase I construction will deliver 721 residential units to the San Diego community, as part of a $3B, 40-acre transformative development.
The Riverwalk team is wrapping up decking the final Level 2 deck of Building A (198 units, 4 stories, and 464,954 gsf), with Level 2 concrete scheduled for completion by the end of April. Looking at Building C (208 units, 4 stories, and 605,839 gsf), crews are decking the second of six Level 3 decks and are preparing to begin Level 3 decking before the end of the month.
One of the significant achievements for the project is the completion of Level 1 (diaphragm) concrete on both residential blocks, along with two Level 2 deck pours on each block. In total, the team has successfully placed more than 4,500 cubic yards of concrete, requiring approximately 450 concrete truck deliveries, a strong reflection of the project’s scale and coordination.
Looking ahead, the Riverwalk team is preparing for Safety Week, taking place May 4th to May 8th. The week will include site-wide toolbox talks and a team barbecue to reinforce the company’s commitment to jobsite safety and collaboration. The team remains focused on completing concrete for Blocks A and C by June 2026, with the next residential block, Block D, scheduled to begin construction in early July.
