MW completed overlot grading, over-excavation and soil reconditioning/compacting throughout this site, followed by the installation of water, sanitary and storm mains and laterals to serve each of the four quadrants slated for future mixed-use building developments. Utility tie-ins required coordination with various entities as they crossed utility ducts, ROW landscaping including existing silva cells and areas where high voltage overhead power lines will be relocated underground. Additionally, these connections had to be made within two extremely busy arterial roads in Boulder. A 70,666 sq. ft. underground concrete parking garage, and new concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters and asphalt for two new public roads – 31st Street and Spruce Street – connect this development to the vibrant community surrounding it.
