Imagine an urban apartment building that is also an inspiring oasis with a sense of the Colorado outdoors. That is LUMA. Milender White (MW) is ready to deliver this 117,517 sq. ft. project for Palisade Partners and Craine Architecture by Q4 2023.
LUMA will offer 104 apartments to Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The eight-story building (load-bearing metal frame over podium) includes an over-height first level to accommodate puzzle car stackers that can hold 84 vehicles, plus storage for 55 bicycles.
The project will contain a variety of unit types, ranging from studios to two bedrooms. Top-level units will have mezzanines with private walkout decks. All residents will be able to access a fitness room and a stunning rooftop space with Colorado landscaping and 360º views. Thematic landscaping will enhance LUMA’s exterior.
While LUMA is conceived as a place of respite from Denver’s hustle and bustle, it is also nicely amid the city’s activity, in a walkable and transit-rich neighborhood.
Construction is expected to begin in summer 2022.
