Milender White (MW) installed more than two miles of fiber and duct bank at BNSF’s railyard in Guernsey, Wyoming. Directional boring, trenching, bridge work, fiber pulls and splicing were required to successfully complete this project. MW established an aggressive schedule to begin and complete work within three weeks. Although there was difficulty with the soil conditions, we were able to get the correct equipment onsite in a timely manner and completed the project on time, within budget, and accident free.
MW worked closely with several training firms to obtain the appropriate railroad safety badges prior to beginning work. Due to the complexity of the safety requirements, we coordinated our trade partners to train for the railroad safety program while they simultaneously trained to meet our own safety standards.
