Project Summary

Milender White (MW) built this senior apartment community for Meta Housing Corporation and the Glendale Housing Authority (GHA). Citrus Crossing offers 127 new studio and one-bedroom to seniors age 62 or older who are earning 30-70% of area median income.

Situated at 900 E. Broadway, Citrus Crossing is close to The Americana at Brand and the Glendale Galleria. The five-story, 142,550 sq. ft. development features a central courtyard and outdoor deck with garden, complemented by a pedestrian paseo along its eastern side. Construction is Type III podium above two levels of subterranean parking with 92 spaces. The project is certified LEED Gold.

Built on a municipally owned parcel, Citrus Crossing represents part of the City of Glendale’s ongoing mission to provide sustainable housing. The GHA has helped to develop over 1,200 units of affordable housing for low-income renters and homeowners, and MW was proud to be a partner in this effort.
