Project Summary

Milender White is partnering with The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless and Renaissance Housing Development Corporation to construct the Stout Street Recuperative Care and Legacy Lofts project.  This multifamily housing development and assisted living facility will provide 98 units of rental housing and a 75-bed assisted living center to serve community members experiencing homelessness and/or requiring medically-supportive affordable living.  The nine-story building will include supportive services and management office spaces, lobbies and covered parking, as well as resident amenities.  

The project is located on a .43-acre site at the 2100 block of California Street, directly behind CCH’s Stout Street Health Center and near local transit in the Arapahoe Square Neighborhood. 

The project will seek the Enterprise Green Communities certification. 

The Milender White construction team is committed to creating jobs and changing lives through the Stout Street project.  The team will hire and train Section 3 residents, including persons experiencing homeless or citizens returning home from incarceration.  Milender White is partnering with local organizations that support successful program models for rebuilding careers and lives. 

Milender White will maximize opportunities and provide mentorship, supervision, safety training and skills training to result in future career paths for employees as well as a future home for many
