Located at 1329 N. New Hampshire in Hollywood, the Wilder contains 92 apartments atop a 64-space parking structure. Units range from studio to two-bedroom and are both market-rate and affordable (11%). Amenities include a club room, coffee bar, fitness center, co-working space, courtyard and recreation room.
The Wilder is just a short walk from three major health care employers – Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center – and their adjacent METRO station. It aligns with the Vermont-Western Transit-Oriented District Plan, which has a goal of creating clean, safe, comfortable, and pedestrian-oriented community environments for living, shopping and working. The Wilder fits into the effort to improve the quality of housing in the neighborhood through the construction of affordable and mixed-use communities along transit corridors.
Above the two garage levels, construction is five levels of Type IIIA over two levels of Type IA, with the upper levels of the seven-story building framing its courtyard.
The MW preconstruction team provided value engineering options for the project while maximizing its unique design elements.
