Urbanize-LA, the online Southern California journal of commercial real estate development, just showcased Inglewood Market Gateway, the transit-focused 242-unit mixed-use development being built by Milender White (MW). Inglewood Market Gateway represents a collaboration between MW, Thomas Safran & Associates and Withee Malcolm Architects, who have teamed together to transform a long-vacant urban lot into a vibrant new community scheduled for completion in April 2022.
Inglewood Market Gateway, located at the corner of La Brea Avenue and Regent Street, is one of the initial steps in Inglewood’s transit-oriented development (TOD) plan and its Historic Downtown Revitalization. MW is proud to construct this development, which will not only be just across the street from a stop on the forthcoming METRO K Line, but also on the city’s planned pedestrian path linking downtown Inglewood’s historic corridor to the Forum and SoFi Stadium.
Residents will enjoy a recreation/community room, media room and fitness center at podium level. The development will also feature three restaurants, five retail spaces and a grocery store. There are several open courtyards in the building design, with the south courtyard featuring a pool and pool deck. Apartment finishes are high-quality, with solid surface tops and locally sourced casework.
