4th Street Crossing

347 Blue River Pkwy.
Silverthorne, CO

Type: Development, Hotels / Hospitality, Multi-Unit Residential, Retail

Owner: Milender White

Architect: DTJ Design

Project Summary

Milender White is the developer and general contractor for this mixed-use development in Silverthorne’s town core where residents and visitors can spend time, shop, dine, work and live.

MW’s concept is rooted in the goals of the Silverthorne Comprehensive Plan, the Downtown Core Design District Standards and Guidelines and long-established placemaking principles.  The design emphasizes a pedestrian-friendly “main street” environment along 4th Street drawing some of the thousands of vehicles that pass by each day on the Blue River Parkway (Highway 9).

Highlights of the 3.8-acre development include:

  • 2residential condos over retail in two mixed-use buildings
  • 33 three-story walkup townhomes with direct tuck-under parking
  • Four-story, 115-key full-service Hotel Indigo
  • 29,000 sq. ft. Market Hall with mixed boutique retail, restaurants, central bar, food space and an events space
  • Storefront retail on 4th Street offering a “Main Street” pedestrian experience
  • Covered transit center within a shared parking structure with 203 stalls

The historic Mint building on the block serves as a focal point with a new surrounding events plaza, utilizing the historic character to bring a sense of authenticity to the Town Core.  Streetscape improvements including sidewalks, on-street parking, landscaping, lighting and other amenities vastly improve the pedestrian experience. MW is currently developing a phase two development directly adjacent to Fourth Street Crossing on the block to the north.
