Project Summary

Milender White (MW) is the developer and general contractor for the Fourth Street Crossing project, a mixed-use development in Silverthorne’s town core where residents and visitors can spend time, shop, dine, work and live. MW’s concept is rooted in the goals of the Silverthorne Comprehensive Plan, the Downtown Core Design District Standards and Guidelines, and long-established placemaking principles. The design emphasizes a pedestrian-friendly “main street” environment along Fourth Street, drawing some of the thousands of vehicles that pass by each day on the Blue River Parkway (Highway 9).

  • Highlights of the 3.8-acre development include:
  • Skywalk Flats: 24 residential condos over retail
  • Elevate Homes: 33 three-story walkup townhomes with direct tuck-under parking
  • Hotel Indigo: four-story, 115-key full-service inn
  • Bluebird Market: 29,000 sq. ft., a mix of boutique retail, restaurants, central bar, food space and an events space
  • Storefront retail on 4th Street offering a “Main Street” experience
  • Covered transit center within a shared parking structure with 203 stalls

The landmark Mint building on the block serves as a focal point with a new surrounding events plaza – its historic character brings a sense of legacy to the Town Core. Streetscape improvements including sidewalks, on-street parking, landscaping, lighting, and other amenities vastly improve the pedestrian experience. MW is currently developing a phase two development adjacent to Fourth Street Crossing, one block north.
