Milender White is partnering with Core Spaces, Amplify Development Co. and Antunovich & Associates to build an exciting new residential community just north of the University of Southern California. Hub on Campus LA-Figueroa will transform the block of 28th Street between Figueroa and Flower into a new mixed-use development. The 292,683 sq. ft. project will tower seven stories, with retail spaces at street level above one below–grade parking level. Construction type is cast-in-place concrete (up to level two), cold-formed load-bearing steel (level two) and wood framed (levels 3-7).
Hub on Campus LA-Figueroa is an example of best-in-class student housing, developed with USC students in mind. The project will incorporate best-in-market quality of design and amenities for residents. Plans include interior amenity spaces, a roof deck with pool and spa, and 115 parking spots. The community will also include 18 units of very-low-income housing and workforce housing.
The Milender White preconstruction team is managing the permitting and entitlement processes, as well as long-lead logistical requirements such as right-of-way closures and power requirements, to ensure the project starts efficiently and meets schedule goals. The team is also bringing solutions to the window design to allow for aesthetically interesting irregular patterns without added costs.
Groundbreaking for HUB on Campus LA-Figueroa was celebrated on August 19, 2021. Read more about the groundbreaking!
