Milender White is partnering with Core Spaces and Antunovich & Associates to build Hub on Campus LA-Figueroa, which will transform the block of 28th Street between Flower and Figueroa with an exciting new mixed-use development.
Hub on Campus LA-Figueroa is an example of best-in-class student housing, developed with USC students in mind. The project will incorporate high-quality finishes and design features and stylish and welcoming activity areas. Plans include interior amenity spaces, a roof deck with pool and spa, and 115 parking spots. The 157-unit community also includes 18 units of very-low-income housing and workforce housing.
This 292,683 sq. ft. project will tower seven stories, with one below-grade parking level. Construction is cast-in-place concrete (up to level two), cold-formed load-bearing steel (level two) and wood-framed (levels 3-7).
The MW preconstruction team helped manage the permitting and entitlement processes, plus long-lead logistical requirements such as right-of-way closures and power requirements, to ensure that the project started efficiently and on track for schedule goals. The team also brought window design solutions allowing for aesthetically interesting irregular patterns without added costs.
Groundbreaking for HUB on Campus LA-Figueroa was celebrated on August 19, 2021. Read more about the groundbreaking!
