NOVEL Uptown, located at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Logan Street where Downtown Denver meets the dynamic Uptown neighborhood, is walking distance from Denver’s Civic Center Park and Arts District. The 10-story, 339,000 sq. ft. project will contain 261 apartments (a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units with balconies) and a 3-level garage with 223 parking spaces, with one level below ground.
On the ground floor, there will be a coffee shop, resident lobby and walk-out residential units along Logan Street. Higher up, residents will enjoy a fitness floor on the main level, a landscaped roof deck with a pool, spa, club room, kitchen and dining area, plus outdoor dining and event space on level 10.
The project is designed to comply with Denver’s Green Building Initiative requirements and is a Type 1 hybrid concrete/metal high rise building with brick and stucco exteriors and metal and glass accents and details. The design responds to its urban setting by incorporating influences of music, art and culture while interweaving colors and textures inspired by adjacent historic architecture.
The MW preconstruction team worked extensively with Crescent Communities and Tryba Architects to finalize the design and budget over nine months before breaking ground.
