S*Park is a highly sustainable, mixed-use development on a 2.8-acre site at the edge of Denver’s RiNo district.
The community features 91 condominium units, 8 townhomes and commercial space totaling 190,804 sq. ft. and underground structured parking with 139 spaces, a greenhouse and more than 50,000 sq. ft. of open space. The project includes 14 for sale townhomes that are affordable for buyers earning 80% AMI. With a below grade garage, the site includes 20,000 sq. ft. of private park.
MW employed many sustainable strategies, including: brick and concrete reuse, soil and erosion control, rainwater conveyance, auto charging stations, a garden wall and permeable parking. The community is designed to provide residents with ease of access to the downtown Denver area, with an RTD station right in front of the project and an on-site BCycle station.
As a sustainable project, S*Park design attends to the finest of green features – hypoallergenic grasses, solar power, composting, stormwater irrigation, and a 7,200 sq. ft. rooftop greenhouse, one of the most elevated aeroponic farms in the country.
Prefabrication: The Milender White prefabrication facility delivered 164,393 square feet of wall panels for this project.
