Project Summary

Prairie Fire is a 5 MW (dc), fixed-tilt solar facility designed and constructed for Tucson Electric Power (TEP). The system spans 28 acres and includes more than 17,000 solar panels. Construction of the system took just 10 weeks. The Prairie Fire array produces approximately 9,000 megawatt hours (MWh) annually, enough to power more than 850 homes.
